Chilli caramel cashews

Spicy honey-smoked nuts will tantalize your guests' taste buds.
Ingredients:
  • Vegetable oil, to grease
  • 25g butter
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) honey
  • 40.00 gm water
  • 2.40 gm salt
  • 1.25 gm smoked paprika
  • Pinch of chilli powder
  • 2 x 150g pkts raw cashews
Instructions:
  • Lightly coat a baking tray with oil to ensure nothing sticks.
  • In a medium frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter until sizzling. Stir in honey, water, salt, paprika, and chili powder, allowing the mix to come to a gentle boil. Toss in the cashews and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes until they turn a beautiful golden hue.
  • Spread the cashew mixture onto the tray and let it cool. Gently tap to separate the cashews, then divide into serving bowls and enjoy.
