Elevate your popcorn snack mix with zesty Chinese flavors for a delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 10 cups plain popped popcorn, unsalted
  • 1.5 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup honey roasted peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1.5 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a gentle 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and prepare a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together popcorn, chow mein noodles, and peanuts.
  • Combine butter, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, Sriracha, and ginger in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour the flavorful mixture over the popcorn, stirring well to coat evenly. Spread the coated popcorn evenly on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through. Remove from oven and let cool before storing in an airtight container.
