Choc-hazelnut twists recipe

Impress guests with tasty chocolate-hazelnut coconut pastry twists for effortless entertaining.
Ingredients:
  • 4 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry, thawed
  • 110g hazelnuts
  • 20g desiccated coconut
  • 1 Free Range Egg, lightly whisked
  • 4.00 gm hazelnut meal
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200C and prepare 2 baking trays by lining them with baking paper.
  • Lay a pastry sheet on a clean work surface. Generously spread with Hazelnut spread and sprinkle with coconut. Place another pastry sheet on top. Cut the stack into 10 even-sized strips. Twist each strip to showcase the filling, then transfer to a baking tray. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  • Coat the choc-hazelnut twists with the egg wash and generously sprinkle with hazelnut meal. Bake for 15 minutes or until beautifully puffed and golden brown.
