Decadent chocolate chip banana bread pudding made with French bread, perfect warm with ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups cubed French bread
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while you generously grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in bread, bananas, and chocolate chips. Allow mixture to sit for 5 minutes to absorb the flavors. Transfer mixture into the loaf pan.
  • 1. Place a damp kitchen towel in a roasting pan. Set the loaf pan on the towel, then place the roasting pan on the oven rack. Fill the roasting pan with water halfway up the sides of the loaf pan.
  • Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about 1 hour in the preheated oven.
