Indulgent candy bar cake with rich chocolate layers and fluffy candy frosting made easily with cake mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 0.75 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 (1.5 ounce) bars milk chocolate candy, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C), then generously grease and flour three 8-inch cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, mix cake mix, milk, oil, eggs, and instant vanilla pudding mix until blended using an electric mixer on low speed. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, then beat on medium speed for 4 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then gently invert cakes onto a cooling rack. Allow to cool for approximately 30 minutes after loosening edges with a knife.
  • Prepare the frosting by blending cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, and white sugar until silky. Gently mix in whipped topping, pecans, and chopped chocolate. Evenly spread the frosting over the chilled cake layers, stack them up, and frost the top and sides.
