Enhance with macadamia or your favorite nuts for added flavor and crunch!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then mix the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda together.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add one egg and mix well. Then, add the second egg and vanilla. Gently stir in the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed. Scoop heaped teaspoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the edges turn golden, about 9 to 12 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
