Irresistible chocolate chip cookies with oatmeal, coconut, and cereal for added chewiness and flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease your cookie sheets.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla. Gradually incorporate the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg into the creamy mixture. Fold in the oatmeal, coconut, crisp rice cereal, and chocolate chips. Spoon rounded portions onto the cookie sheets and bake.
  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
