Easy no-churn chocolate ice cream, no eggs needed.
Ingredients:
  • 6 (1 ounce) squares bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 2 cups creme fraiche
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Combine the chocolate and milk in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth. Add the creme fraiche, sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, then blend until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Transfer the mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a "soft-serve" consistency. Then, transfer the ice cream into a lidded plastic container, cover the surface with plastic wrap, and seal. For optimal results, let the ice cream ripen in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight.
