Ingredients:
  • 4 oz unsweetened baking chocolate, melted, cooled
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Combine oil, chocolate, granulated sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously grease a cookie sheet with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Place spoonfuls of dough into a bowl of powdered sugar, roll to coat and form into balls. Arrange 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are firm. Transfer immediately from the cookie sheets to cooling racks.
