Chocolate Cupcakes with White Truffle Frosting

Easy and delectable cake mix combined with creamy frosting and melted chips for a quick and tasty treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 cup white vanilla baking chips
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and prepare the cake batter as instructed on the box. Bake the batter in cupcake pans and allow them to cool completely.
  • Microwave baking chips in a medium microwavable bowl on High for 45 seconds. Stir well, and if needed, microwave in 15-second intervals until melted and smooth. Let it cool for 5 minutes, then mix in the frosting until fully incorporated. Frost or pipe onto cupcakes right away.
  • If desired, charmingly tie ribbons around cupcakes for a decorative touch, then store loosely covered.
