Indulge in a delightful coffee-chocolate treat with this easy recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 3 heaped dessertspoons medium-ground espresso coffee
  • 250ml (1 cup) boiling water
  • 6 scoops chocolate ice-cream, to serve
  • 185ml (3/4 cup) grappa, to serve
Instructions:
  • Put the coffee in a glass beaker of a coffee plunger, followed by pouring over boiling water and stirring with a metal spoon. Cover with the plunger lid without pushing it down and let it brew for 3 minutes. Finally, slowly press the plunger down.
  • Transfer the brewed coffee into a sealed container, then pop it in the freezer for 10 minutes to cool down.
  • Divide the grappa evenly among six 30ml-capacity shot glasses. Place a scoop of ice cream in 6 latte glasses or small serving bowls. Pour the coffee over the ice cream. Serve promptly on individual platters with the grappa and marsala strawberries.
