Chocolate macaroon Easter bunnies

Make adorable Easter chocolate coconut bunnies to enchant your kids with delight.
Ingredients:
  • 150g milk choc melts, plus extra to decorate
  • 170g desiccated coconut
  • 65g shredded coconut
  • 160ml sweetened condensed milk
  • Silver cachous, mini pink & white marshmallows, teeth lollies, to decorate
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. 2. Melt chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals on medium power, stirring in between until smooth.
  • Combine the shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk in a bowl with the chocolate chips.
  • Form 1 tablespoon of the mixture into an egg shape, repeating to make a total of 20 eggs. Add 2 cachous on each for eyes. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden underneath (they will remain slightly soft but will firm up as they cool). Allow to cool completely before enjoying.
  • Create an adorable face by using lolly teeth for the mouth, white marshmallows for ears, and a halved pink marshmallow for the nose. Secure everything with extra melted chocolate and allow to set. Finally, add a white marshmallow for the tail.
