Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios® Bars

Elevate game day with football-shaped Cheerios dessert bars featuring chocolate chips, peanut butter, and marshmallows.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 bag (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips (2 cups)
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 bag (10.5 oz) miniature marshmallows (5 1/2 cups)
  • 4 cups Chocolate Cheerios™ cereal
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1 pouch (7 oz) Betty Crocker™ Cookie Icing white icing
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips and peanut butter until smooth. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Remove from heat and mix in the cereal.
  • Press the mixture into a 13x9-inch pan. Allow to cool for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • In a small saucepan, gently warm whipping cream and the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips until chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until the ganache has cooled and thickened.
  • Prepare a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper or cooking parchment paper. Use a 2- to 3-inch football-shaped cookie cutter to cut out bars. Dip the tops of the bars in ganache, then place them on the prepared cookie sheet to set.
  • Using cookie icing, delicately pipe laces onto each football shape, allowing it to stand until completely set.
