Whip up decadent chocolate peanut butter protein bars with a rich protein powder twist. Warning: it's hard to resist devouring just one!
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions:
  • Prepare an 8 1/2x4 1/2-inch loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper, leaving extra paper hanging over the edges for easy removal of the bars.
  • Combine peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt in a bowl. Mix until fully incorporated, then press the mixture into the prepared pan. Let it sit while you move on to the next step.
  • Combine the chocolate chips and oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate chips are completely melted and smooth. Pour the melted chocolate over the bars, ensuring an even coating. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, approximately 30 minutes, then slice into 8 delicious bars.
