Indulgent low-fat chocolate sauce elevates any dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 10 white marshmallows
  • 32.50 gm cocoa powder
  • 20.00 gm cornflour
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 643.75 gm lite milk
Instructions:
  • Cut marshmallows in half using kitchen scissors.
  • In a bowl, mix cocoa, cornflour, and sugar. Gradually stir in milk, using a wooden spoon to blend until smooth.
  • Transfer the cocoa mixture to a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 8 minutes until warmed through, stirring constantly. Add marshmallows and continue stirring for 5 minutes until the sauce boils and marshmallows melt. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the sauce into a bowl. Drizzle the warm sauce over fresh berries or ice cream. Place plastic wrap directly on the surface of the leftover sauce to prevent a skin from forming.
