Savory chow mein casserole with ground beef, rice, almonds, noodles, and celery for added crunch - simple and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 0.5 cup slivered almonds
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 5 ounces chow mein noodles
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. 2. Sauté ground beef in the hot skillet for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Add onion and celery to the beef, continue to cook and stir until slightly softened, around 5 minutes. 4. Remove from heat.
  • Combine condensed soup, cooked rice, almonds, water, and soy sauce in a large bowl until mixed. Mix in beef mixture, then transfer to a baking dish. Sprinkle chow mein noodles on top before baking.
  • Cook the casserole in the preheated oven until warmed up, approximately 20 minutes.
