Delicious turkey sausage meatloaf with Italian flair, made without flour, cheese, or excessive sugar.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound mild Italian turkey sausage, casings removed
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian-style seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 5 dashes hot pepper sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, sausage, eggs, oats, onion, and milk. Add 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine spaghetti sauce, hot sauce, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke in a separate small bowl, then spread evenly over the entire meatloaf.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown.
