Poppy and sesame seed vinaigrette tossed with strawberries, pecans, and goat cheese for a refreshing summer salad.
Ingredients:
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1.5 teaspoons minced shallots
  • 0.25 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag baby spinach leaves
  • 10 strawberries, sliced
  • 0.33333334326744 cup toasted pecans
  • 0.5 (4 ounce) log goat cheese, crumbled
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, balsamic vinegar, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, shallots, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika in a container with a tight-fitting lid. Shake vigorously until well mixed. Add oil and shake again to combine. Refrigerate for 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
  • In a bowl, toss together spinach, strawberries, pecans, and goat cheese. Drizzle with dressing and mix until everything is coated evenly.
