Festive twist on Cape Cod cocktail: cranberry meets Christmas with ginger and cinnamon.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 fluid ounces ginger ale
  • 3 fluid ounces cranberry juice
  • 1 fluid ounce vodka
  • ice as needed
Instructions:
  • 1. Place water in a saucepan and bring it to a vigorous boil. Stir in sugar until fully dissolved within 1 to 2 minutes. Introduce cinnamon sticks, lower the heat, and allow it to simmer gently for 8 minutes. Take off the heat and steep for 1 hour.
  • Discard cinnamon sticks and transfer syrup to a squeeze bottle.
  • Combine ginger ale, cranberry juice, vodka, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon syrup in a 12-ounce highball glass. Give it a good stir or shake. Top it off with ice and enjoy.
