"Baked mixed seafood in creamy white sauce, perfect as a main dish with salad or a delightful appetizer in a bread bowl!"
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1.5 cups chopped celery
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons butter
  • 4 ounces Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 pound crabmeat
  • 0.25 pound lobster meat
  • 0.25 pound medium shrimp
  • 0.25 pound scallops
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a cozy 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while you prepare a medium baking dish with a touch of grease.
  • In a skillet, melt a generous amount of butter and cook the onions and celery until soft and flavorful.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, warm up the milk. Stir in the flour and 1 1/2 teaspoons of butter until smooth. Gently melt the cheese into the mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine onions and celery with creamy cheese sauce, then add crabmeat, lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish.
  • Bake in a hot oven for 25 minutes, or until the seafood turns opaque and the top is beautifully golden.
