Cilantro and Walnut Crusted Salmon

Try this: Easy cilantro and walnut crusted salmon for a refreshing twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillets
  • 0.25 cup walnuts
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro, packed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Drizzle olive oil over the bottom of a baking dish, then place the salmon in the dish.
  • In a food processor, pulse walnuts and garlic until evenly chopped. Add cilantro, butter, salt, and pepper to the mixture and process until a smooth paste forms. Spread the walnut paste generously over the salmon.
  • Cook the salmon in the preheated oven until it easily flakes with a fork, around 20 to 25 minutes.
