Indulge in a deliciously rich baked cinnamon chocolate pound cake.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and lightly flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on low speed to beat together sugar, butter, and eggs for 1 minute, scraping the bowl occasionally. Add the remaining ingredients and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Pour the mixture into a pan.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and transfer to a wire rack. Let it cool completely for about 2 hours.
