Layer toffee crunch in a festive tin for a tasty game day treat!
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ cereal
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans or sliced almonds, toasted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare a 15x10x1-inch pan by lining it with heavy-duty foil and spraying the foil with cooking spray. Evenly spread the cereal in the prepared pan.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter with brown sugar over medium-high heat until boiling. Resist the urge to stir for 2 minutes. Pour over cereal in pan.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until lightly golden. Sprinkle a generous amount of luscious chocolate chips on top. Allow it to stand untouched for 5 minutes. Drizzle with smooth melted chocolate and generously top with crunchy pecans. Let it cool completely for about 1 hour. Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set, then break into delectable pieces. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to one week for a delightful treat anytime.
