Citrus and cinnamon tea

Delicious and vitamin C-packed refreshing tea for a healthy boost.
Ingredients:
  • 1 small orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 20.00 ml Earl Grey tea leaves
  • 1500.00 gm (1.5 litres) boiling water
  • 18.00 gm raw or white sugar
Instructions:
  • Slice the small orange and lemon thinly into rounds and set aside. Then, use a peeler to peel a 5cm strip from the remaining orange.
  • Infuse 1 tablespoon of Earl Grey tea leaves, 1 cinnamon stick, and a piece of orange peel in 6 cups (1.5 litres) of boiling water in a plunger or saucepan for 3 minutes. Remove and discard the leaves, cinnamon stick, and peel before serving.
  • Stir in 1 tablespoon of raw or white sugar until fully dissolved. Pour slices into tea and serve warm, or add ice cubes for a refreshing chilled option.
