Classic pickled eggs with a sweet and tangy twist: vinegar, salt, sugar, garlic, and bay leaf for a delicious appetizer or snack.
Ingredients:
  • 12 small eggs
  • 3 cups white vinegar
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
Instructions:
  • Prepare to embark on a culinary adventure by collecting all your beautiful ingredients.
  • In a saucepan, gently nestle eggs and cover with water. Boil briefly, then let eggs rest in hot water for 15 minutes. Transfer eggs to cold water to cool before peeling. Drain hot water.
  • Combine vinegar, sugar, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
  • In a 1-quart mason jar, layer peeled eggs, garlic, and bay leaf. Pour in the vinegar mixture, seal the jar, and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 week before enjoying.
