Decadent coffee-coconut cake - a flavor sensation!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 2.5 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 0.5 cup coffee flavored liqueur
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 cups flaked coconut
Instructions:
  • Mix in the instant coffee to the cake mix, follow package instructions to prepare the cake. Divide the batter evenly between two greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. Bake as directed on the package. Let the cakes cool before moving on.
  • Using a large serrated knife, carefully split each layer horizontally to create 4 layers. Drizzle 1/4 cup of coffee liqueur evenly over each layer.
  • Prepare the pudding as instructed on the package, and stir in the remaining 1/4 cup of coffee liqueur. Layer 1/3 of the pudding between each cake layer. Whip cream with sugar until stiff peaks form, then spread over the top and sides of the cake. Sprinkle with coconut.
