Quick and easy chocolate chip cookie alternative with minimal cleanup needed - satisfaction guaranteed!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted
  • 2.25 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 2.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) while you generously grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Set it aside for later use.
  • In a large mixing bowl, blend together butter or margarine and brown sugar until slightly cooled. Add eggs one by one. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt; then combine with sugar mixture. Incorporate nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Pour the mixture into the pan, then bake for 25 to 30 minutes. After removing from the oven, allow it to cool slightly before cutting into 48 squares.
