Award-winning chocolate dessert bars for Fall 2010 - quick and creamy deliciousness in minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 4 bars (1.55 oz each) white chocolate candy with chocolate cookie bits, unwrapped, chopped
  • 3/4 cup from 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Vanilla Frosting (from 12 oz container)
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen extra-creamy whipped topping with real cream, thawed
  • 12 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease the bottom and sides of a 13x9-inch pan. Combine cookie mix, melted butter, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Fold in chopped candy bars. Press the dough into the pan. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until lightly golden brown. Allow to cool completely for about 1 hour before serving.
  • Combine frosting and whipped topping in a large bowl until smooth. Set aside 1/4 cup of chopped cookies. Gently fold the rest of the chopped cookies into the frosting mixture. Spread the mixture over the cookie crust and sprinkle the reserved cookies on top. Chill for about 2 hours. Cut into bars and store in the refrigerator.
