Total Time:
Delicious cornmeal dinner rolls made effortlessly in a bread machine, with a rustic flavor and elegant touch.
Ingredients:
  • 0.66666668653488 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
Instructions:
  • Follow the manufacturer's recommendations and layer the ingredients in the bread machine pan. Choose the dough cycle, press start, and feel free to incorporate more water if the dough appears dry during mixing.
  • After the dough cycle finishes, form the dough into 8 to 10 balls and place them in a greased 9-inch pie pan. Let them rise in a warm spot until doubled in size.
  • Place the rolls in a hot 400°F (205°C) oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
