Crab Rangoon dip with sweet chili sauce on crispy wonton chips - perfect for entertaining!
Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1.5 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 8 ounces imitation crabmeat
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and lightly grease a 2-quart or 8x8-inch baking dish.
  • Set aside 1 tablespoon of green onions for garnish. Mix the rest of the onions with cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, Sriracha, soy sauce, lemon zest, and lemon juice until smooth. Gently add the crabmeat and transfer the mixture to the baking dish.
  • Place in the preheated oven until beautifully bubbly for approximately 20 minutes. Allow it to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Finish off with a drizzle of sweet chili sauce and a sprinkle of reserved green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
  • Heat oil in a medium saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C while the dip is baking.
  • Fry 5 to 6 wonton pieces at a time in batches until they turn golden, bubbly, and crisp, for approximately 30 seconds. Place on paper towels to drain and sprinkle with salt. Repeat with the remaining wontons. Serve immediately with dip, or cool completely and store in airtight containers for later use.
