Succulent and flavorful venison steak with a spicy kick, effortlessly delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (1/2 pound) venison steaks
  • 2 teaspoons cracked black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions:
  • Season venison steaks with a generous amount of freshly ground black pepper and a pinch of salt. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat, removing any solids that form on top. Transfer the clarified butter to a large skillet and heat over high heat.
  • Sear venison steaks in skillet for 3 minutes on each side, then lower heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes each side for rare or 15 minutes each side for medium. Rest for 2 to 3 minutes before slicing into strips. Serve promptly.
