Create adorable penguin appetizers with black olives, carrots, and cream cheese. Add cute scarves and hats using red pepper strips or pimentos. Skewer with frilly toothpicks for extra appeal.
Ingredients:
  • 18 jumbo black olives, pitted
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 18 small black olives
  • 1 carrot
Instructions:
  • 1. Make a lengthwise slit in each jumbo olive and stuff each with 1 teaspoon of cream cheese. 2. Slice the carrot into eighteen 1/4-inch rounds and cut a small notch in each to create feet. 3. Use the cut-out piece to make a beak for the small olive and insert it in place, adjusting as needed.
  • Place a large olive, hole side down, on top of a carrot slice. Then, add a small olive on top, aligning the beak, cream cheese chest, and carrot notch. Secure with a toothpick.
