Decadent cream cheese-filled chocolate cupcakes with a surprise of rich chocolate chips for an indulgent twist on a classic treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) or as instructed on the cake mix package. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and mix well, then fold in chocolate chips.
  • Follow the instructions on the chocolate cake mix package, but refrain from baking the batter.
  • Spoon chocolate cake batter into muffin cups until 2/3 full. Place 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture in the center, then cover with more chocolate cake batter.
  • Follow the package directions and bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven.
