Creamy chicken noodle soup with melty cheese and broccoli.
Ingredients:
  • 0.66670000553131 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 6 cups milk
  • 12 ounces shredded American cheese
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, cook onion and garlic in butter over medium heat until tender.
  • Pour in the flavorful broth and bring it to a bubbling boil. Lower the heat and gently drop in the noodles. Cook for a quick 3 to 4 minutes, then gently fold in the fresh broccoli. Cover the pan and continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Gently mix in milk and cheese, stirring until cheese is melted. Be careful not to boil. Serve promptly.
