Whip up a quick and flavorful creamy spinach soup by combining sauteed spinach with a roux-based blend of milk and chicken bouillon. Easily adaptable with your favorite veggies!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 3 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
Instructions:
  • Combine water, flavorful bouillon, and fresh spinach in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until spinach is tender.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes. Slowly pour in milk while whisking constantly. Season with minced onion, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens, stirring continuously. Fold in spinach mixture.
