Indulge in creamy beef and semi-dried tomato fettuccine.
Ingredients:
  • 400g fettuccine
  • 500g Beef Round steak
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 125ml cream
  • 125ml chicken stock
  • 75g semi-dried tomato
  • 120g pea
  • 40.00 ml flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • Flat-leaf parsley leaves, extra, to serve
Instructions:
  • Cook fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions, then drain.
  • Preheat a barbecue grill or chargrill to medium-high heat. Season steaks and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Move the steaks to a plate and let them rest, covered, for 5 minutes. Slice thinly before serving.
  • In a medium frying pan over medium-low heat, heat oil. Sauté onion for 5 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in cream, stock, and semi-dried tomato. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Add peas and chopped parsley, cook for 2 minutes until heated through. Finally, stir in fettuccine. Enjoy!
  • Serve the fettuccine mixture in individual bowls and garnish generously with fresh parsley.
