Air-fryer Caesar salad-inspired crispy chicken cutlets: Breadcrumb mix with crushed croutons, Caesar dressing for extra crunch and flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup (3 ounces) seasoned croutons (such as Texas Toast), crumbled (from 1 [5 ounce] pkg.)
  • 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs (from 1 [16 ounce] container)
  • 2 ounces pre-shredded Parmesan cheese (about 1/2 cup), plus more for serving (from 1 [4 ounce] pkg.)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning mix
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing (such as Ken’s Steak House), plus more for serving
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Cooking spray
  • 6 (4 ounce) chicken breasts cutlets, patted dry
Instructions:
  • Collect all ingredients.
  • Pulse croutons in a food processor until finely crumbled, approximately 8 times.
  • Create a dredging station by mixing croutons, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, lemon pepper, oregano, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne in a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, blend Caesar dressing and milk until smooth. Keep aside.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 2 minutes and lightly coat the basket with cooking spray.
  • Take one cutlet and dip it completely into the dressing mixture, making sure to shake off any extra. Coat the cutlet in the crouton mixture, pressing down firmly to ensure both sides are evenly coated. Place the coated cutlet on a plate in a single layer.
  • In batches, arrange 2 cutlets in a single layer in the basket. Cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Place the cutlets on a serving platter. Repeat with the remaining cutlets. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and dressing before serving.
