Garlic-Parmesan crusted chicken tenders with zesty panko breading. Perfect for dipping!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 0.5 cup flour
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon granulated onion
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup lemon pepper panko bread crumbs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grapeseed oil
Instructions:
  • Flatten chicken tenders with a meat mallet until thin and remove membranes.
  • Create a breading station by preparing 3 shallow dishes. In the first dish, mix together flour, 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, paprika, granulated onion, and pepper until fully combined. In the second dish, whisk together eggs and the remaining Parmesan cheese. Fill the third dish with panko bread crumbs.
  • Warm the oil in a skillet over medium high heat until it reaches 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Coat chicken tenders in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat in panko, pressing gently to ensure crumbs stick.
  • Cook chicken tenders in sizzling hot oil until golden brown, approximately 90 seconds per side. Transfer to a paper-lined tray to rid of any excess oil before serving.
