Create a delicious no-bake slice by layering Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with easy condensed milk caramel and chocolate for a sticky, crunchy, and heavenly treat.
Ingredients:
  • 210g (4 2/3 cups) Kelloggs Crunchy Nut Cornflakes
  • 80g (1/2 cup) unsalted roasted peanuts, finely chopped
  • 400g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 100g butter, chopped
  • 55g (1/4 cup, firmly packed) dark brown sugar
  • 150g smooth peanut butter
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
Instructions:
  • Cover a 20 x 30cm slice pan with baking paper, leaving a 3cm overhang on the two longer sides.
  • In a large bowl, gently crush 4 cups of cornflakes using your clean hands until coarsely crushed, then stir in the peanuts.
  • Melt half of the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Combine with Cornflakes, then press the mixture into a pan. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes until firm.
  • Combine condensed milk, sugar, and remaining butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir constantly for 5 minutes until the mixture bubbles and thickens. Remove from heat, then stir in the peanut butter until smooth. Spread the caramel mixture over the Cornflake base and refrigerate for 2 hours until firm.
  • In a heatproof bowl, combine the oil and the remaining chocolate. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn’t touch the water. Stir with a metal spoon until the mixture is melted and smooth. Spread the mixture over the caramel layer, then sprinkle with the remaining Cornflakes. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour or until set.
  • Place the slice on a beautiful serving board. Dip a knife in hot water and effortlessly slice the piece into 24 perfect portions.
