Crunchy pumpkin spiced granola with nuts and dried fruit for a delicious breakfast treat.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 3.5 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup sliced almonds
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.66666668653488 cup applesauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 0.5 cup dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and generously coat 2 baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, rolled oats, almonds, and pecans. In another large bowl, combine applesauce, honey, and vanilla. Stir the oat mixture into the applesauce mixture until granola forms clusters. Spread granola evenly on baking sheets.
  • Roast in a preheated oven, tossing every 20 minutes, until golden and crispy, around 1 hour.
  • Take the dish out of the oven and let it cool down. Mix in the raisins and cranberries, then transfer to an airtight container for storage.
