Maple-spiced pumpkin pie topped with crunchy walnuts for a delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15 ounce) can plain pumpkin puree
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple-flavored extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
  • 0.33333334326744 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter, cubed
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin, condensed milk, eggs, maple extract, cinnamon, salt, ginger, and nutmeg until well combined. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. Then, lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake until the filling is set, approximately 30 more minutes.
  • For the walnut topping, combine brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Use a fork to blend in the butter until a crumbly texture forms, then mix in the walnuts.
  • Once the pie is done baking, evenly cover it with the topping. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the topping turns a beautiful golden brown color. Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing into it.
