Indulge in the delightful combination of summer berries and creamy ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 200g thickly sliced strawberries
  • 200g raspberries
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 5.30 gm lemon juice
  • vanilla ice cream to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine the strawberries, raspberries, and caster sugar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • Continuously stir the mixture for 3-4 minutes until the sugar dissolves, the berries soften, and the sauce thickens. Incorporate the lemon juice and take it off the heat.
  • Roughly crush the berries using a fork or potato masher and let them cool to room temperature. Serve the crushed berries in serving glasses with a scoop of softened vanilla ice cream.
