Fluffy crab cakes with a crispy pretzel crust - easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 0.5 small onion, chopped
  • 0.25 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat
  • 1 jumbo egg
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter until sizzling. Cook onion in the butter until soft, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper. Add crabmeat and egg, then mix in onion. Shape mixture into small palm-sized patties.
  • In a pan over medium-high heat, melt the remaining butter. Cook the patties until they are beautifully golden brown on each side, about 4 minutes per side. Serve and enjoy.
