Pretzel-Crusted Salmon Patties

Crunchy pretzel-coated salmon patties, pan-fried to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14.75 ounce) can pink salmon, drained
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour, or more as needed
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lite salt, or more to taste
  • 1 (10 ounce) package pretzels
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Combine the salmon, onion, flour, egg, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  • Crush pretzels in a plastic bag and transfer to a separate bowl. Shape salmon mixture into patties and coat with the crushed pretzels.
  • In a skillet heated over medium heat, brown patties on both sides in oil for 10 to 12 minutes. Place on paper towels to remove excess oil, if needed. Serve hot.
