Indulge in a crave-worthy sweet and salty pie. Crushed pretzels, buttery crust, sugary whipped topping, cream cheese layer, and strawberry gelatin create a mouthwatering treat. Ideal for a 9x13-inch pie.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 0.75 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry flavored Jell-O®
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen sweetened strawberries (do not thaw)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Combine crushed pretzels, melted margarine, and 1 tablespoon sugar in a medium bowl. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Allow to cool completely.
  • Combine the softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar in a medium mixing bowl, beating until smooth and fluffy. Gently fold in the whipped topping, then spread the mixture evenly onto the cooled crust.
  • In a medium heat-proof bowl, combine gelatin with boiling water, stirring gently until fully dissolved. Mix in frozen strawberries until mixture starts to thicken. Chill until slightly firm yet pourable. Pour the strawberry gelatin over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
