Transform Brussels sprouts with a decadent cheesy cream sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and scored
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2.5 cups processed cheese (such as Velveeta®), diced
Instructions:
  • Bring a saucepan of water to a boil and cook the sprouts for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse in cold water, and set aside.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter then stir in the flour, salt, and pepper until the mixture turns slightly tan, about 1 minute. Whisk in the milk and bring to a simmer, whisking constantly until thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in the processed cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Add the Brussels sprouts, stirring to coat in the sauce. Enjoy!
