Bacon-wrapped banana peppers stuffed with cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and cilantro, grilled to perfection. A delectable appetizer sure to impress any crowd!
Ingredients:
  • toothpicks
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 10 banana peppers
  • 10 slices peppered bacon, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Place toothpicks in a bowl of water and let them soak for 15 minutes.
  • In a spacious bowl, blend cream cheese with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and cilantro until fully combined.
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by preheating it to medium heat and giving the grate a light coating of oil to prevent sticking.
  • Make a lengthwise slit in each pepper without cutting it in half. Make another slit 1/4 inch from the stem to form a 'T'. Use a paring knife to remove the seeds if desired.
  • Stuff each pepper with the creamy cheese mixture and wrap with a slice of raw bacon. Secure each pepper by sliding a toothpick through its center to keep the bacon in place and the pepper closed.
  • Grill stuffed peppers for a total of 25 minutes, flipping halfway through and cooking until the bacon is nice and crisp.
