Delicious campfire dessert: bananas stuffed with chocolate chips and marshmallows, easily baked in foil or oven. Customize with toppings like cherries, peanut butter chips, coconut, butterscotch, or caramel for a sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 6 large bananas, unpeeled, stems removed
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) package miniature marshmallows
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill on high heat.
  • Prepare 4 large sheets of aluminum foil for wrapping the bananas by spraying them with cooking spray.
  • Cut the peel of the banana from top to bottom and slit the banana lengthwise. Alternatively, you can choose to slice the bananas inside the peel for easier handling.
  • Gently peel back the banana just enough to stuff with desired amount of chocolate chips and marshmallows inside the peel. Fill to your liking.
  • Wrap ripe bananas with shiny aluminum foil and grill over hot coals until chocolate chips and marshmallows are gooey, about 5 minutes. Unwrap, peel back, and enjoy straight from the grill with a spoon.
