Campfire-friendly kid-friendly recipe for a stress-free camping trip.
Ingredients:
  • 500.00 ml plain flour
  • 12.00 gm baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 515.00 gm milk
  • 75g butter, melted, cooled
  • Extra 25g butter, melted
  • 125.00 ml chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 2 bananas, sliced
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, combine sifted flour and baking powder with salt and sugar. Create a well in the center. In a separate jug, whisk together eggs, milk, and butter. Pour the milk mixture into the well and whisk until just combined.
  • Preheat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat and brush with additional melted butter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake, cooking 3 at a time until bubbles form on the surface (about 2-3 minutes). Flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes until done. Transfer to a plate and loosely cover with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter, brushing the pan with butter between batches. Top the pancakes with hazelnut spread and sliced banana before serving.
