Wholesome homemade dog biscuits with flour, oats, cornmeal, eggs, and peanut butter, a simple and delicious treat for your furry friend.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 0.5 cup cornmeal
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups water, or as needed
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease the cookie sheets.
  • In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, cornmeal, and oats. Create a hole in the middle of the dry mix and slowly add water, oil, eggs, peanut butter, and vanilla. Stir thoroughly until well combined.
  • Roll out the dough on a flat surface with a rolling pin. Cut into dog biscuit shapes with a cookie cutter and place on prepared cookie sheets.
  • Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Leave the biscuits in the turned-off oven for an additional 20 minutes to allow them to harden.
